Requirements for assembly and adjustment of steering bridge are as follows:
After the steering bridge is installed, there must be a correct connection and fit gap between the parts.
1) the clearance between steering knuckle and steering knuckle pin shaft shall not be greater than 0.1mm.
2) the end gap between the steering knuckle and the steering bridge is generally 0.05-0.1mm. If the end gap is too large, an adjustment washer can be installed to adjust it.
3) the needle roller bearing between the steering knuckle shaft and the steering bridge shall have a large clearance of no more than 0.1mm.
4) after the hub bearing of the steering bridge is loaded with grease, tighten the hub bearing to adjust the fixed nut. When it is difficult to turn the wheel, return the nut 1/5 circle and install the lock washer. When turning the wheel should be flexible, when turning the wheel should not have the feeling of axial clearance appropriate.
5) adjust the parallelism of wheel hub, the error should be no more than 1mm, can be adjusted by adjusting the steering screw, after the adjustment, tighten the stop nut.
6) adjust the corner. Jack up the steering bridge, rotate the wheel hub to the left end point, adjust the piston rod of the steering cylinder, and then put the spring cushion on and tighten the nut.
